# Usage and egress

> How a phone's traffic leaves: US mobile carrier exits checked before use, the gigabytes each phone includes, and the price of traffic past that.

Each phone reaches the internet through our mobile proxy network, or through [your own proxy](https://distilled.cx/docs/proxies/). Our exits are US mobile carrier IPs in Phoenix, Los Angeles, Charlotte, Atlanta, Chicago or Philadelphia, and each is checked before a phone uses it: a fraud score of 25 or lower, and no proxy or VPN flags. A rotation never gives a phone an address another phone has, though a carrier can move two phones onto one. Every phone has 2 GB a month through our network included, and each gigabyte past that is $2. Traffic through your own proxy is counted, so you can see it, but never charged.

## Agent use

Agent use, by your runs and the assistant, is included too: each running phone brings $10 of it a month, shared across all your phones, and a phone that runs part of the month brings its share. Past that you pay as you go, at $0.50 per million model tokens the agent reads and $2 per million it writes.

## Endpoints

- `GET /v1/egress?period=YYYY-MM` (scope `phones:read`): Each phone's traffic for a month: what it used, what was included, what is billable and what went through your proxy, with totals.
- `GET /v1/usage?from=&to=` (scope `runs:read`): Steps taken and model tokens used by your runs over a window of up to 366 days (30 by default).
- `GET /v1/usage/agent?period=YYYY-MM` (scope `runs:read`): A month of agent use by your runs and the assistant, in US cents and in model tokens: what was used, what your phones include, and what is charged past that.
